Terms of service

CLIPCLIP is operated from Brooklyn, NY · Yerevan, AM · remote-first. These terms cover the marketing site and any introductory engagement (call, brief, sample). Engagements convert into a signed services agreement before any work is delivered.

An informational + lead-generation site. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to enter into a contract. Statements about pricing, performance, and timelines are illustrative — they reflect typical engagements but are not contractual guarantees.

Clipping is a distribution model, not a virality engine. We don't guarantee that any individual clip will reach any specific view count. We do guarantee broadcast across the roster, the editing labor, the platforms covered, and the payout SLAs once a paid engagement begins. The proposal we send you spells out the specifics.

Clippers are independent contractors. Submitting a clipper application does not create an employment relationship. Approval is at our discretion. Approved clippers receive a one-page agreement covering content rights, tone guidelines, and payout terms. There is no non-compete and no exclusivity.

All site content — copy, illustrations, brand marks — is owned by us. The 1-bit illustrations, halftone textures, and palette are part of the brand identity; please don't reuse them outside of clearly-attributed press / case-study contexts.

Don't try to compromise the site, automate bulk applications, or post submissions on behalf of someone else without consent. Don't submit content you don't own the rights to. We reserve the right to refuse engagements that conflict with our brand-safety standards or applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for anything related to the marketing site itself is limited to USD 100. Liability under a signed services agreement is governed by that agreement.

Reach out to legal@clipclip.am first. We've not yet had a dispute that wasn't solved in a single email thread. If we ever can't resolve something, governing law is the State of New York, USA.

We may update these terms. If we change them in a way that materially affects an active engagement, we'll notify you in writing.
